I am available for contract economics work, including consulting projects and tutoring economics students.
My research skills include working with the STATA and SAS statistical packages and with large datasets. I am also familiar with model identification and specification, including fixed effects models, difference-in-difference models, regression discontinuity and probability models such as probit and tobit models.
I have also worked with forecasting models and have constructed unique datasets and ranking indices for previous research projects. Details on my previous and ongoing projects are available on my CV.
Datasets I am particularly familiar with include the New York City stop and frisk database, city arrest databases, industry specific survey data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Medicare data, and data on occupational licensing regulations by state.

Datasets I am particularly familiar with include the New York City stop and frisk database, city arrest databases, industry specific survey data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Medicare data, and data on occupational licensing regulations by state.
I am familiar with both STATA and SAS statistical packages and collecting primary data. I am also familiar with model identification and specification tests, including fixed effects models, difference-in-difference models, regression discontinuity, instrumental variables, and probability models.
